In Voltage-A-Rooney, Gemma starts directing for Liv's new TV show. She also happens to be a fan of the comic book, mentioning that reading them helped her survive fifth grade, and subsequent school years.
Since Joy To-A-Rooney, she had been dating Johnny Nimbus and they got married in Choose-A-Rooney.
In season 4, she is directing Liv's new show, Sing It Louder!!, after being fired from Voltage.
